Some people who have the procedure done have also experienced allergic reactions to the sclerosing solution. This reaction might be a result of some of the ingredients that is contained in the solution. Another side effect of Sclerotherapy is the increase of pigmentation irregularity. Pigmentation is the increase of brownish splotches that affect the skin. These take a long time to fade and this could be from months to up to a year.The risks associated wit this procedure can be reduced if you use a doctor who has been trained properly to do sclerotherapy.
